Gives better embroidery results by stabilising material

Use to support embroidery that is too small to frame alone - we recommend kk 100 adhesive spray to fix embroidery onto stiffy backing (see kk 100 sheet).

Applications:

Normally used during the embroidery process only. Can be completely torn away afterwards with ease and without affecting the design’s quality. Leaves hardly any fibres but should the remains spoil delicate fabrics, we recommend trying solvy (see solvy sheet) or thermogaze (see thermogaze sheet) instead.

Should stiffy be left in or around an embroidery, to reinforce a badge for example, it can be torn away outside the motif only and will withstand several washes at any temperature in most cases. Heavyweight is likely to endure more washes than lightweight.

Fusible stiffy can be ironed on to material using any standard iron, usually at the highest temperature (depending on the material).
