Reflex
is a highly reflective appliqué material which reflects light from
microscopic glass prisms embedded within the material.
Available
in two varieties, PVC and Cotton. The PVC is available in 7 colours,
43 x 43cm. The Cotton is available in 4 colours, 1m x 106cm.
Once on a garment, both
PVC and Cotton Reflex can be stitched to add detail and features
to an appliqué design.
With PVC Reflex you are
able to print or embroider as an application or badge. Cotton Reflex
can be stitched in an extensive way, for example it can be used
for sleeves, pocket flaps, borders or embroidered as an application.
Instructions for use:
- Cut desired shape
(for industrial use, the G S UK laser cutter is ideal for this
purpose giving a high quality cut with unbeatable precision).
- Stitch outline of
shape and position the Reflex shape on the garment.
- Continue with the
design, stitching down the edges of the Reflex shape and then
add details and features to the design as required.
- No touch-up required
- the edges will not fray.
The PVC sheets must be
kept separate otherwise the colour will run from one sheet to the
other.
Before being finished
the micro-prisms on the under side are not protected, scratches
and dirt may show if not handled carefully.
Both PVC and Cotton
Reflex are washable up to 60 degrees C, Cotton can also be dry cleaned.
