Cutting tools
A suite of tools for driving vector cutters, particularly our own range of Flat-bed laser cutters. They all contain sophisticated import filters which can read most popular p.c. vector file formats. The software is programmed to control the cutter according to the material being cut, giving consistent results every time. The vectors are given cutting effects to control the speed and power of cut, and one design may contain any number of different effects. Full control over the cutting process allows you to reduce wastage and improve productivity.

APPLIQUÉ ASSISTANT:
This product is a hybrid product which uses functions from both embroidery and cutting.The product is aimed at applique embroiderers who specialise in lettering appliques (i.e. for sport shirts).Vector designs or stitch designs may be imported,or the running or step outlines used to describe the applique shapes to be cut.The comprehensive cutter control available in the cutting artisan is available in the Applique Assistant.

• Import options such as Corel Draw.
• A text tool which can generate running outline text from True Type fonts.
• A border tool which can add satin/zigzag borders around the generated text.
• Stitch output to disk/machine. This would be used to output the running markout, and border stitching for embroidering.
• Simple cutting output (for example to a laser cutter). This would output the base outlines to a specific cutter.

CUTTING ARTISAN:
The simplest available vector manipulation package for driving cutters.Vectors,created in any commonly available package,are imported and may be copied,edited,merged and/or deleted to create the desired cut design.The operator controls the scale,orientation,position,and speed of cut.On Flat bed lasers the combination of power and speed regulation gives fine control of cut depth.

• Vector imports common formats (CDR, AI, EPS, DXF) and APS drawing files (LOP).
• Assign different effects to any part of the design.
• User defined materials allow the laser to cutter to engrave and kiss cut with easy repeatability.
• DXF and WMF export for importing/pasting into other packages ie. MS Word for reports.
• Sophisticated nesting algorithm to reduce wastage.
• Full control of the position, orientation and spacing of your output.
• Optocut option.

CUTTING COMPOSER:
This is a vector design package for driving cutters,particularly the Flat Bed Laser Cutter series.In addition to the features of the cutting Artisan, it has True Type^TM text on line arc circle or any path.There is a range of drawing tools and image import for backdrop drawing and printouts.

• True Type text on line, arc, circle or any path. Any font at any size in one string.
• Drawing tools to create designs or add to existing drawings.
• Image scanning or importing for drawing over printouts.
• Direct engraving of images [future feature]
• Deformation and paralleling tools to create stunning effects.
• Optocut option.

OPTOCUT:
Optically aligned cutting is a purchase option for Cutting Artisan and Cutting Composer (when available).This patented technology requires the use of a CCT Flat Bed Laser Cutter.A small video camera is mounted to the cutting head,and images are fed back to the software where they are analysed to find locator marks and cut the design according to their position.

• Video camera on the laser finds registration marks on the material.
• A comprehensive range of adjustments is available to ensure the best possible result.
• Sheet or roll fed materials equally well handled.
• Material automatically 'feeds' to cut the next page of designs.
• Automatic error correction on every cut for precision, removing the effects of distortion in flexible fabrics.
